When I researched some great engagement photography locations in Austin, Texas – I DID NOT expect to come across THIS amazing place that is also known as a museum + a wedding venue! Laguna Gloria at the Contemporary was such a DREAM! Guys, this engagement session with Spanish Villa Vibes at Laguna Gloria in Austin, I have to say, I’m so jealous of anyone who gets to shoot a wedding here! 

You won’t believe this, especially after looking at their photos, but Carina shared that she was a little nervous beforehand. I understand why. It’s such a huge unknown when you’ve never had your photos taken before. Thankfully, Carina was a natural. She didn’t know this about herself until she got in front of the camera but she’s so good at this! Erick is too! It makes me so excited for their wedding!!! Carina found me through a friend of a previous bride Their entire engagement session was filled with laughter, and I loved every second of it! 

Carina & Erick are so relaxed, up for anything and they trusted me. It’s hard enough to feel comfortable having your pictures taken in normal situations, but these two made it easy even in the midst of a crowded place, keeping up with my crazy ideas and squealing with excitement! Not to mention, I’ve NEVER shot here before. I loved this because I have found that when I shoot in brand new locations, I tend to be more creative and more excited about what I’m shooting!! We didn’t need much!

So enjoy some of my favorites and get excited because I have a feeling their wedding is going to be one of my favorites in 2020!!!!!
