A Romantic Blush and Gold Wedding at Thistlewood Manor & Gardens Ended With Mariachis and a Sparkler Exit
After 8 years together, Carina & Erick were officially MARRIED at this beautiful romantic blush wedding at Thistlewood Manor & Gardens in Kyle, Texas this past weekend!! Yay! As their 118 guests watched them promise forever to each other, I listened to their incredible love story unfold during their vows. While this wedding was a visual dream, it was also so heartfelt and endearing.
I know I talk about weather in most of my weddings but THIS ONE – YALL! I opened the window to our hotel and it was dark, gloomy and RAINING! My heart sunk. I couldn’t believe it. As if having to re-schedule their wedding from May to June wasn’t enough, don’t tell me we’re gonna have rain today too!? God himself must have been listening or watching because he brought that beautiful golden sun out! It was BEAMING from the ends of the earth on all of us at Thistlewood Manor. It truly was one of the most beautiful days I had seen. Not only was the weather beautiful, this entire wedding day was stunning! I can’t wait for you to see this incredible reception!
A cool little fact about our couple:
On their first date, at Six Flags in San Antonio, they had our first caricature done. They now we have a caricature for their first date, engagement, and another soon enough now that they are married. These two knew they would be committed to each other at the tender ages of 18 and 22.
If you don’t already know — Blush pink, champagne, and gold is my ALL-TIME favorite wedding palette! You seriously cannot go wrong with romantic pastel colors, in my opinion. Leslie Hays, Thistlewood’s in house florist and coordinator, sprayed the entire venue with big beautiful blush roses, plush ivory peonies, hydrangeas and silver dollar eucalyptus leaves. The garland, made of REAL blooms draped all the way from the top to the bottom of the gorgeous winding staircase. Carina opted for flowy half up half down hairstyle with pearl barette accessory. Our couple really know how to turn up the entertainment with ceremony music by Terra Vista Strings, reception entertainment by Mariachi Relampago and last but not least Vegas DJ Services for the win.
